Testing Capabilities

JASC has substantial and diversified in-house testing capabilities to perform most development and qualification testing of its components and systems. JASC has several dedicated labs which enable a wide range of testing to be performed – including pneumatic, hydraulic, thermal, vibration and shock testing. Data is digitally captured and reduced to engineering units via specifically-written data-reduction routines.

Fuel simulants, hydraulic fluids, deionized water, inert gases

Test Equipment

Vibration Testing Capabilities:
2 Shakers. Random Vibration to 3000 Hz, Sinusoidal, Random/Sinusoidal Combined

Thermal Testing:
Programmable Thermal Chambers (-75 to +375F), Ovens (to 2400F), Cryogenic Testing (to -320F)

Pressures:
Up to 10k psi pneumatic, 30k psi hydraulic (static), 5k psi hydraulic (dynamic)

Electronics:
JASC maintains an instrumentation suite that covers the test ranges of its equipment: PID controllers, pressure transducers, strain gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters and accelerometers. JASC can also perform hardware-in-the-loop testing when required
