Fuel flexibility for today’s gas turbines is more critical than ever. With significant fines and other consequences associated with the inability to operate on liquid fuel, solutions are required which ensure that starts on liquid fuel and transfers from gas operation to liquid fuel can be executed as necessary. JASC valves have the proven ability to achieve operational excellence and fuel flexibility.
JASC’s business model and product development strategy is unique for the turbine industry. Our considerable expertise and understanding of gas turbine system operation as it relates to failure modes for various critical components has allowed us to design products uniquely suited for the systems to which they are being applied.
As such, valve designs for liquid fuel, purge air and water injection systems have exhibited exceptional performance over time. More importantly, JASC’s refurbishment program for valves returned during customer outages provide cost savings for the turbine owner and provides JASC with an opportunity to evaluate the condition of the hardware after several years of service. Lessons learned from these refurbishment inspections give us the opportunity to determine what valve design modifications can be incorporated in order to further improve our products.
With almost two decades of evaluation, testing and field experience, JASC consistently provides hardware which performs well in overall system reliability between major turbine service intervals.
