JASC fluid management controls are used in hypersonic flight and throttlable rocket engine research applications.


  • Cavitating Pintle Valve

    Cavitating Pintle Valve is a high-speed motor driven pintle valve with electronic control for metering of high-pressure gaseous hydrogen or silane. These valves form the heart of NASA’s Hyper-X Hypersonic Experimental Research Vehicle Fuel System.

  • Pintle Metering Valve

    Using technology developed for use on NASA’s successful X-43A Hypersonic Research Vehicle (Hyper-X), was adapted and commercialized through this technology into a high-precision metering valve for industrial fuel control applications. Pintle Metering Valves and electronic controller offers a solution to a wide variety of hazardous and corrosive fluid control applications.

  • Smart Metering Pumps

    Smart Metering Pumps were developed as the fuel control/pump combination for small expendable TurboJet Engines. The Smart Metering Pump is motor driven and receives its electrical signals for the integrally mounted electronic motor speed controller. The internal leakage of the pump is near zero making outlet flow proportional to speed up to maximum pressure rise.
